Rod Stewarts Layout - CBS News Sunday Morning

They briefly showed part of his HO scale layout on the program this morning, pretty cool. Of course not enough of it as it moved on to music Anyone else see it? Anyone have the Model Railroader from I think 2014 that his layout is featured in? I could have the wrong year.

 

Unfortunately I didn’t see it. Rod Stewart is an avid model railroader. Was the layout moved to Rod’s home in England?

 

Caught that this morning. Always liked Rod Stewart.

 

I remeber reading the article on MR, do not remeber when though, should have a look in the MR stack

I'm so glad CBS This Morning mentioned Stewart's and Holland's common hobby interest. Rod and Jools were both on the Kelly Clarkson show the other week and I thought, "Oh come on, both are model railroaders, they gotta mention the trains!" But...nothing. So disappointed. Glad CBS reported on the important issues.

 

But some don't like our children's games.

 

Don't recall anything around 2014 in MR, but there was an article in the Dec 2007 MR titled, "Rod Stewart's Three Rivers City".

 

While I was at the Amherst show last month I saw a banner above the ITLA booth that indicated that most / all of the buildings on Rod Stewart's layout were from ITLA. I've seen a few of their kits and they can be very amazing kits.

 

That's an impressive layout! Incredible detail.
