Don, I know this is beginning to get obnoxious. But there is a conflict of terminology: Your drawing only represents, from the top main track around to the bottom main, a single line main making a bubble or balloon shape (like Horseshoe Curve) coming around and paralleling itself at the top left.. Yes, train is now going the opposite way from whence it came, and that's fine if the club wants that.. But, in the hobby, when one uses the term 'reverse loop' it is usually referring to the electronic situ where a single track, no matter how it may meander, comes around and, via a switch track, puts a train on that same single track but in the reverse direction. Then we have a reversed polarity of + against - on both rails, both sides of the gap. That's fine too. But it needs a special circuit to flip the polls to match one another as train approaches and traverses said switch. if you were to install a crossover in the area where Brodzinski's blue lines are, or further left on drawing, you then would have a true reverse loop.. If you ever want that situ, not sure if still the top device in the hobby, but a 'Hex Frog Juicer' is a great device to handle the situ (assuming club is in DCC ). Or, it can be done with a simple DPDT toggle switch (which is too difficult explain here). But I believe that's not what you/club wants here, anyway. Good luck with project. .. M, Los Angeles

    Mark,

Please reread the quote below, and not simply refer to the initial diagram. All of us started the same way, but then Don clarified. Yes, there is no reversing within his shown modules, but it reverses back onto an unshown module to the left of the entry module. That unshown module is built to the standard where each parallel track carries the same polarity.
