Just got back from a five (5) day Railfanning Trip with a strong focus on the D&RGW. Darren, did you make my old stomping grounds around the loop from Raton over Raton Pass to Trinidad to Stonewall, over Apishapa Pass and down into Walsenburg then back? Certainly beautiful scenery and excellent fishing up there! I remember it back in steam days, hearing those "Wild Cat" Mountain Whistles coming down from Raton Pass.
Not this trip, we started from home on the south side of Denver taking I-25 south to Walsenburg then turned west into the mountains... :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Darren, Are you a D&RGW nut yet? Do I need to take you to South Draw, or Tunnel 27 to convert you? Seriously, the pics are nice! The 01441 caboose is a nice piece. Is it open to walk in, or just a display?
