We can work around the rosters, Sten. I have 4 weeks though family and friends will take up a bit of time, hopefully not too much on weekends. Jase, I'd have to either; a) dig them out of storage, or b) start bringing back some of the units from here....
A few weeks ago, I stopped by Sydney Central Station and saw this Pennsylvania RR FA1 and a switcher pulling some red PRR passenger cars. Just a joke, of course! I was surprised that the power and the cars looked older. I will leave it to others to tell us exactly what these engines are. This is the same track where the Indian-Pacific arrives/departs. [ 17. hey all, I haven't been paying attention to whats been happening but some answers are It is a heritage tour operated by the Australian Railway Historical Society (ACT div) Canberra. I think the event was the last screening of the Lion King in Sydney. (A friend from work freelances as a guard on this train) Motive power is a 44class and a 48 class (both Alcos) The cars are ex NSW govt RR's sitting cars. The horn is on the flat end because the locomotive is double ended and was the last locomotive built in NSW with the rounded nose - everything now looks like the flat end or just a big box 44 class No2 end
