I'm putting together the Walthers Medusa Cement Plant kit and after I glued the silo things together I have some rather nasty seems. What type of putty should I use that will spread nice, dry well, and sand well so the seem will be gone?

    Thanks

I like to use the squadron putty. The kind I got is a beige color, and sands real nice, but they also make a green and a brick red color that are the same.

I too, use the green putty... real good stuff! I've currently used it on 2 F-7's with double headlights where I needed to remove the lower headlight, filled the headlight in with epoxy, left it settle to the back or inside to leave a small hole to finish fill with green putty, sanded smooth, can't even see a part line, next is to paint the body shell!

Thanks to everyone so far with the recommendations, I'll have to get to the local hobby / train store and see what they have to offer.

    Thanks again

In a pinch, you can sometimes get away with using good old vinyl spackling paste, but the other products mentioned are typically better to use.
