Ok I got another one for ya team! haha Purchased a dcs 210 + with duplex throttle. Originally had to send 1st one back due to throttle issues but NOW something new. I have track connected to program track and main rail a and b. Was working fine until today. I go to program said locomotive on program track and any cv I try and even read it fires up the locomotive sound or engine start. It will do so until It times out. It also puts the lights on as well as sound. It also cannot read any given cv..... I'm getting really frustrated with digitrax. Any Ideas ?
Take off all of your locos. Then put your problem engine back on the track. Then reset your decoder (I cannot remember the code for Digitrax, sorry). Then, reprogram. It sounds like it picked up an error somewhere. I have had ESU decoders flip-out, and one NCE, but they were reset and reprogrammed and all is well. I have had decoders go into error mode when an engine somewhere on the layout shorts out on a switch, for example.
