I have an HO locomotive (PRR F7) that was made by PlayArt, according to the underside of it. When did PlayArt produce locomotives? Anything, please! (The locomotive came with truck-mounted hornhook couplers and is made entirely of plastic, except of course for the weights and motor assembly. And the paint job wasn't the best!) Thanks! Nick
does it have a LL type drive (toy drive) with traction tires? ------------------ Theres no such thing as having to many coal hoppers or GP40-2 when you model Chessie System LONG LIVE THE KITTEN!!! LONG LIVE BIG BLUE!!!
Sorry, but my model railroading vocabulary isn't up to par. I assume you are asking about the motor and the drive system. The motor is mounted on the rear truck, picking up current (as far as I can tell) from both trucks. Only the rear truck is powered. It is very similar to the motor assembly of the locomotives found in Bachmann train sets. Nick
