Gang, My units are the Micro Trains run. This is the first time I've had them out of the box!! Now I need to do some DC test running, and hope I can find enough DIgitrax decoders to fit the batch I have. Have the ABBA Demo set and an ABBA set of Rio Grande, Rd #541 and an AB set of Rio F+Grande, Rd #540, of which I'm thinking about offering for sale before too long.
This will be my last posting of pics for this year. I'm going away for a family vacation for two weeks so I will only log in now and then if I get to an internet cafe. My modelling has changed over the past year from an avid UP modeller to a modeller of UP fallen flags. In recognition of this and to thank those who have inspired me, here are a couple of pics with my fallen flag roster. Now while I'm away I expect to see more pics posted to this topic.

I just checked this thread out. Some very nice stuff showing up!!!!. I'll add a few of my favorites from my layout YHR Geeps on Yellowhead Pass An F7 and a GP7 linked up along the Athabasca River Chopped GP-9s made from some LL GP-18s LL/Kato F7AB combo 6000 HP sitting in the hole
Thanks Jeff. To hear someone say a modelled scene brings back memories of a trip to the prototype area is very rewarding. And yes those are F units on the west end of Jasper
Mike - Wow, the layout is really coming along! Let's see some more of it! Dan - Super shots as always! Hemi - That shot of the PA's is sweet. You don't see that paint scheme very often, but it's one of my favorites.
Thanks Guys for the kind words..... I will have a complete update before the weekend. Here is some old pic's of UP So.Cal. Sub [ 04. January 2005, 02:25: Message edited by: up mike ]
Dave, Thanks for the kind comments! I never saw the scheme on the PA's before I saw the Kato announcement to do them. I am more or less a bandwagon fan, just joining the D&RGW camp this year as a modeller/fan. I really like the 4-stripe scheme as well.
Milwaukee Road always had interesting diesel lashups. Here is a FM C-Liner leading an AB set of F-7's.
Bill- Looks great to me! Could you start up a seperate topic on this scene? Is this part of your New Lisbon project? Am interested in what you've done for that plowed field. Boxcab E50
