I was thinking about using manual turnouts on the mainline and remotes in the staging yard. Maybe I'll do something similar to what Mike Danneman did with his layout and use code 55 for the visible track and Atlas code 80 in the staging yard. I'm planning on a shelf type layout where the reach won't be all that great. Unless there's a lot of trees in the forground, there shouldn't be a problem.
