Just saw on another forum that Paul of Badger Creek has had a bad attack and was rushed to the hospital. He is home now and resting. but he will no be posting anything for a while.
That's bad news indeed. Paul had been cranking out quality models at a phenominal pace, and seeing his posts was like getting a new train magazine in the mail, several times a month! Prayers go out to you Paul for a fast recovery.
I was just thinking of him. His layout was featured in one of the recent mags, but I can't remember the name of it (not MR). The pictures of his layout weren't up to snuff in the mag, which is too bad as he is not only a super modeler, but excellent photographer as well. Given his skill in photography, I assumed it was the mags fault for the poor images; the backdrop area's were all washed out. I am hoping for a full and speedy recovery for him.
Both my wife and myself wish Paul a speedy recovery and hope that you will be back with us soon. God Bless You and all those close to you Paul. Terry Moore
Paul's email doesn't work anymore, so all I can do is wish he has a successful recovery, keep him in our prayers, and wish for him and his family to have a Happy New Year!
Definately bad news! I wish you well Paul, for your sake, your family and all your friend (including us here at TrainBoard!) You'll be in my prayers!
Paul, I sure hope you are up and about soon. So sorry to hear you aren't feeling well! Hope 03 brings the modeling railroad world much more of your incredible work. JT
I wish to convey the same sentiments as posted. I wish you a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you back on the board.
Got one down here in Texas sending best wishes for recovery and restoration of health. Right now, getting better is number 1- the Badger Creek can wait until you come back (we'll be here for ya too).
I sent Paul an email about 4.5 hours ago and it hasn't been returned as yet. Maybe he is receiving again. Don't be surprised if you receive a reply from his son, David, while Paul is recovering. Either way, I told Paul of your many well-wishes and prayers.
I just received the following from Paul in response to my note this morning: Many thanks for your email, I am now well on the way to recovery, and I must thank all who have asked about my health. I am putting on Trainboard my thanks tonight.
