Does anyone know the length of passenger cars that were run back in the late 50's and early 60's?

In the book "Illinois Central Streamliners 1936-1946", there are diagrams featuring Panama Ltd equipment. It shows the baggage/dormitory cars being 80' 11/4' long. The diner 84'6", the sleepers were 84'9". The two observation cars Memphis and Gulfport were 84'11". The City of New Orleans was an all coach affair. According to my resources this train started service on April 27th, 1947 with new lightweight equipment from Pullman. I don't have any measurements for these coaches but I will do a little snooping to see what I can come up with.
