I painted some N scale DRGW locomotives for a friend, and found that the paint did not match the decal colour. We looked at all the photographs we could find, and there appeared to be two distinctly different colours, orange and yellow. Were there two colours, or does the lettering 'weather' with age. In any case, the Pollyscale paint was nothing like either colour!! Any clarification would be appreciated. Alan, Ah, the ole color trip . There were three and maybe four colors that were used. Not only that, if you used Microscale decals, some of them are the wrong color. Let me know the exact units, numbers and the years they are modeled in and I will get back to you. It may take some digging . Jim Harrawood
Alan, Start out by going to the following site and we will go from there . http://www.sound.net/~drgw/paint2.htm Jim Harrawood PS: Almost forgot the link .
