I posted this photo in the Freelance section: Peirce made this comment on that board. SO here's my answer. It's just an less expensive digital camera, a 2 foot by 1 foot piece of foam, one piece of flextrack on roadbed, scenery foam and a few model trees. As far as the background, I simply put the diorama on our garbage cart, and positioned it so the sunlight was coming through the trees to the left of the picture, and that nothing but trees showed up in the background. I used the macro focus ability and started shooting. I took about 30 different pics and did very little editing once they were uploaded to the computer. I consider myself to have little photographic talent. If I can do something like this, anyone can. Jeff Augsburg & Concord R.R.
