Yes, you do have a lot of work there. As my wife and I prepared my late mother's home for sale earlier this year, I took a second look at my late father's woodshop. He passed away 20+ years ago and much of his tool collection was already distributed to my brothers and I, but he was a packrat and a ton of stuff remained. I came upon a nifty circular saw system for cutting plywood panels that required special rails, one 9' and the other 5' and they were nowhere to be found. By providence, I somehow found a crumpled note I'd made long ago and forgotten about that read "rails are above fluorescent light fixture in garage". There they were, invisible from below and camouflaged in thick dust. The system has been used a lot this summer in my benchwork build.
Nice find. Mine is two 4.5' aluminum pieces that attach together with a steel plate. Very handy cutting sheet goods.
