Don't forget the gray and orange scheme! Most people don't like them but I do. When I worked in Champaign there was still one of these running around, I think it was a GP-38. Also when I first moved to the Land of Lincoln, the Chicago Central & Pacific, a short line spinoff of the IC from Chicago to Debuque had a bunch of GP8 and GP10's. I have pictures and slides as recent as 1997 of them in orange & white, gray & white, Deathstar black and CC&P red. I used to paint a lot of IC & ICG orange & white N scale stuff when I lived in Champaign. Good sellers with the IC yard there and all.

Last I checked the Paducahs are mostly off the roster with the Iowa Interstate.

wow thanks for the replies. I started this a long time ago, but I am always pleased to hear more.

I lived in Urbana as a kid and saw alot of IC stuff, then one day all the diesels started sporting this weird ICG logo. :p

    BNSF,
Any pictures you feel like sharing would be most welcome as this is one of those things that just went bye bye.

Did you get a chance to get any pictures of N&W over on the urbana side of town?
