Went to SSF yesterday to show a friend John Petrovitz's layout of San Francisco and the NWP up HWY 101. Really GREAT detail From Market st. to the Ferry Building. #rd St Bridge (Now Called Lefty O'Doul), Coit Tower. Petreo Hill , State Belt Line, Petaluma Swing Bridge, Scotia Bluff, Tug and Barge traffic and on it goes. ALL very detailed...MUCH, Scratch built. .......
I've seen some photos in the past of this layout..WOW! I wish it was open to the public as I would LOVE to see it in person, especially since I also model the NWP. This layout deserves more exposure!
Another photo...An experimental 'Pumpkin" scheme GP 9 ahead of an evening San Jose bound commuter at 3rd and Townsend.....
My last layout was an NWP themed layout. I modeled 5327 in scarlet and gray, never knew it had been a pumpkin.
