Maybe not the best title for the subject, but .... I'm wondering if there are any known sources and/or sites that are related to developing DCC++ ? Given it's open source nature, I'd like to believe that there have been some that have picked it up and developed it beyond the original form. I'm not talking solely about tweaks, but real alterations that might enhance its use. In my previous thread I have been looking for information on how to make the system a more reliable programmer. Maybe the modifications to make this perform the way I need it to will be tweaks rather than alterations, but I believe it's going to take deliberate research by somebody(ies) for that to happen. If these people are out there, perhaps a request to focus on the programming capabilities will help. On a side note, a few months ago I had contacted Gregg on a different matter related to DCC++. At that time had said that he had not had the time to do any further development of DCC++. Maybe that has situation has changed since then. However, he has written the software with 'open source' development in mind. Hence my hope that there is somebody somewhere advancing the system. Lyle
Hi, Try http://www.locoduino.org/spip.php?article182, spread over 4 pages and a lot of clear diagrams. This one is devoted to DCC++ on a Nano:http://forum.locoduino.org/index.php?topic=203.0 Parent site has a lot of projects around Arduino & trains and links. Probably will have to use translate a lot.
