Took a drive yesterday, really nice out too, looking for eagles and came across this...... Two rusting relics of bygone transportation. This is an ex-NP bridge over the Willapa River just east of Menlo, Wa. The Milwaukee Road also used this line until they left Lines West in 1980.
Sunny and bright. Is it really March? Good timing, as trees with leaves would make the catch more difficult.
Excellent documentation. Yepper, angles of sunlight and lack of foliage are factors for photog subjects. We've got a nesting pair of eagles in a local urban park and I'm keen to get shots!
