I'm nearly done trying to create the Northcast Limited of the 40's. Robert Ray said that there was a bunch of NP stuff in Seattle. There's some here in Chico too.
Sure enough, there is indeed a Santa Fe modelers group in the Seattle area! In fact there is a fantastic variety of scales ,and interests in the area! Including NP! How about a picture of the entire train when completed? That would be neat! Boxcab E50
Very Nice Marty! I'm still collecting the cars I need to do a Lowey North Coast Limited in Z. By now you get the idea that I have switched to Z for the time being. I'm targeting the last 20 years of the NP in N Scale, so I can have steam and diesel, but have to broaden my horizons in Z to include BN, and BNSF era's too due to the selection of models available.
Rober Z????. What's the NP availability in Z. Now, wait a minute. Are you going to try the laser to make a NP 'shorty'?
Marty- Take a look in the Z Scale Model RR forum here. Somewhere in older topics, there should be some photos that Robert posted up at the time he finished the prototype. Boxcab E50
