Not much good action around Calais, Maine

    Calais is a former railroad town where there isn't much left at all. The occasional switch engine pulls a boxcar or two around undetermined locations for reasons not apparent to me.

    Here is a not too good shot from yesterday. Note the Bush/Cheney sign on the locomotive.

    I'd say it's a GP35, my *guess* is it's an ex Norfolk & Western one due to the high hood and bell location... [​IMG]

    What's with the huts/sheds? Are they new ones for sale? Interesting location for a layout room. ;)

    No, that is the parking lot for the electric company's work garage. I am sure they are for storage for them.

    Definitrely a GP, check the B-B trucks.
    Also seems to me a Geep 35, Southern/NW heritage...
