KCS and its five component railroads have a specially decorated GE C44-9W to recognize KCS's participation in the flow of rail traffic under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) covering trade between the USA, Mexico and Canada. Here are some photos of the KCS NAFTA 2000 Kato N model (LC-4415) just announced by BLW in their Legacy series of custom decorated units: http://blwnscale.com/Legacy%20C44-9W.htm and information/photos on the prototype here: http://www.kcsi.com/emp_locomotive3.html This is actually the second KCS NAFTA 2000 locomotive. The first one was an EMD SD-50, seen at this URL: http://www.trainweb.org/arkansastrains/railroad/kcsloco/272930.htm eNjoy Don B

Scott Yes the prototype is a GE C4400AC but this is not readily available in N scale at a reasonable price. (Overland may have done this model in brass). BLW used the available and similar-looking Kato C44-9W. Don B
