IF that plan shown above is really what you are using for working out a layout design, I suggest strongly that you get yourself some real layout design software and use it! I use AnyRail, myself. Real layout design software will change an 'educated' guess into something you can actually build from. As it is, your hand-drawn plan isn't anything you could actually build in the space you have set aside unless you hand-lay all the track and turnouts. Even then, it wouldn't be much fun to operate. It's pretty near certain that the big engines you want to use wouldn't work on the tiny sidings. Sorry to have to be so blunt about it, but any hand-drawn plan is bound to be wishful thinking.
