    Hi all, UK N scaler here…. Modelling USA modern era with plenty of heritage trains !! Would I be correct in thinking this is the best train forum globally?

    Thank you both..... Love a good SD70 in BNSF livery! Have become a Virtual railfan also, and often have Fort Madison on my side monitor when working.. shhhhhh!
    I have come back to model railroading from many years away due to 'life' however now in the construction phase of my layout and loving everything N scale and the incredible changes DCC has made to the hobby. looking forward to chatting etc with you all as I now have some more time on my hands.

    Thanks Fordy, appreciate the welcome, not a huge amount in UK modelling US I fear.. I am in Spalding Lincs for my sins.

    There is more than you may think... many are still too afraid to crawl out from under that rock, for all it is becoming "more" acceptable to be a railway modeller, even modellers of American are not accepted by modellers of British so we are outcast further.

    I'm Lincoln myself so not far ironically, there are a few others out in the wilds of Lincolnshire but there is more active "open" groups out midlands way if you open to a drive...
