    Robert,
Is there any way to use colored plastic for the laser? The clear is hard to see and you have to have it placed on something dark colored or it pretty much disappears. It certainly makes a nice model though, the finish is as smooth as glass and I think if you wanted to heavily weather it you could beat it up pretty good. I don't think I had to spend more than 5 minutes cleaning it up with a file before I painted it. Maybe the new medium for kit makers.

They are supposed to offer this plastic in white, but when I ordered mine, it was not available, and I had to make a minimum order of 10 sheets for each thickness, so I doubt I will go through it all anytime soon. I bet Jason will have the same issue, as that is 100 square feet, or enough for several hundred kits.

    Bob,

Do you know Jerry Salomon (SP?)? I believe he is up your way and is moving from Z back to N due to eyesight. Getting rid of all his Z stuff. Might want to try to work a trade with him or something like that. I got some items from him a couple of years ago. Good to deal with.

Too bad you guys couldn't hook up and share an order of sheets. In Zed thats enough plastic for at least a few hundred. You may have to make a few O Scale kits or something!!!!
    Randy,
Do you have an address, or at least an Email address for this fellow. Thats an excellent idea to work a trade, save a whole pile of headaches. Mind you he would probably be modelling a different era or something!!!! PM me if you have an address for him. Thanks.
