Navy sailor in Woodbine Ga. I model a 1950-60 rendition of a railroad that went belly up in 1893 located in Ft. Payne, AL. I found your site hunting the origins of the Argent Lumber Co. engines from Hardeeville, SC. I know at least one came from NC and I'm curious about the others. If there's other members in my area I'm willing to meet up to assist in projects or just talk trains. Looking forward to some good discussions.

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

Is your user name an indication of leaning toward rostering FM diesels on your layout?

Indeed they do, though I favor just about anything not EMD.

Welcome aboard. An interesting concept, with a lot of latitude for your own interpretation.

I'll add my welcome to Trainboard as well. Keep us posted, (with photos too) on the progress of your railroad! :)
