Great pictures Pierre! Can you give me a few details of picture #178 Can you tell me when picture #230 was taken?
Photo 178 was taken near Dorval airport in Montréal. It is the type of train that checks track gauge. The last car (looks like an ex passenger coach) is fitted with cmputerized equipment for this purpose. The boxcar is likely for staff accomodation. Photo 230 was taken at Vallée-Jonction (Qué.) home of the Québec Central Railway. The RDC1 is in pitiful state but I hope that QC will restore it for the purpose of excursion train.
