I am presently working on a new containership that is based on an OOCL ship. The entire ship will be scratchbuilt and fit in my harbour at the end of my layout. Set in the early 80's the harbour will be entirely devoted to intermodal activity. I haven't written on this board in a long time. Welcome to the TrainBoard, Ed! Are you planning to keep one person busy loading containers onto your train cars, while you run the trains and switch cars around? There was a short training film that showed the students loading and unloading the ship with small electro magnets to grasp containers that had sheet metal plates in the roof at each end. That would be neat to have operational. Looking good so far!
