I am one of those pesky freelancers whose model RR is designed around modern day "if the real RRs had done it right" concept[ex.:lots of non-Amtrak passenger trains, no long haul trucking] I just decided to add in a logging branch line with the same concept-no tree hugging do-gooders to stop the logging industry from responsible cutting. My question is, what do you folks know of out there that is a fairly modern diesel[and available in HO] that can be used on sharp curves and steep grades to replace the old steam loggers? Curt

Did you know those OCE U25s had been rebuilt by M-K with EMD 567 power? (Complete with twin exhaust stacks.) Mike
