Hello to all, newbie here to the board. I have just received my 3rd planit, and I was wanting to know how to post my attempted ( lmao) track plan, for comments and design help. I model in Nscale and am trying to capture the feel of the soo when they bought out milw, with the masked bandits and all. I have plenty of photos from bensenville and surrounding areas to try to get a feel. Gotta have industries and a yard with service facilities.

So any help would be appriciated, and if ya'll let me know, I will be able to post my plan so far so you can give your nay or yea.

    So adios fer now, wyatt

In 3rd Planit you can save the view to file by selecting

    |File|Export|View To File|

and then in the dialog enter 800x600 pixels, click ok, in the file dialog select JPG (default) and save it.

Then you need to upload your file either to a webshot account or create an account here on trainboard, click on RailImages icon on the top right corner of the page and it should guide you.

Also, there is a very active yahoo group for 3rd Planit, maybe you should join that, they can help you with all sorts of questions you might have.

    Hope that help a little.

    Jesper

    [IMG] , foolish young man!!!!!!!!,lmaoooooo.

Andy, I have seen your plans and read your ideas, sounds awesome, Resevre the local job fer me!!!! Gotta love switch'n cars!

Here is the grand scheme. free lanc'n SOO,MILW,CNW between fond du lac and green bay. aslo all points north and west, and where ever else I feel the track should go. I have 195 sq ft to house my n scale empire,LOL. Thought bout going double deck with lower fer some seriuos staging, like fer example, citys of milw, st paul, eau claire, and where else I feel important. WANTS: plenty of industries fer all types of cars , nice yard AKA north fond du lac, a nice engine facility. in short basiclly, wisconsin railroading !!!!!

So if you would care to share any ideas. or just shoot the bull bout the fallen flags that once used to grace duplainville crossing, bring it on!!!

    adios from texas, wyatt

I'll agree foolish but I don't know about young. The layout I am finishing up now is a free lance connecting line between the Milwaukee Road and C&NW in Wisconsin.( I know you never finish) I probably will start the proto layout sometime in the fall. Its just in the planning stages now. I never knew that it would take so much planning. The layout your thinking about sure sounds couragous. To model Milw.,Eau Claire, and the Cities. It will have to be in N scale or you will have to buy a warehouse to build it in. Feel free to send me a pm or an e-mail any time you want to disscuss anything, or just post it on here.
