Need help re Athearn wheel replacement

    I have an Athearn 33.9k gallon LPG tank car that I would like to install Fox Valley Models metal replacement wheels. I know the couplers are McHenry, but am not sure what brand the trucks/wheels are to find the right replacement size. The FVM website does not include Athearn among the replacement brands, or at least I did notice it listed.

    Can someone advise on the correct FVM metal wheelset replacement number?

    The Athearn car is: N RTR 33.9K LPG Tank/Flat, UTLX/100th #910611 [ATH23529]

    I used FVM3601, 36” wheel with 0.540 axle. Big improvement.

    FVM 3601 is what I use here, too. ExactRail EWN-302 should work as well.

    The BLMA 36" wheel can also be used on athearn trucks and IMHO are far superior.
