    Maybe try answering in categories:

    Loco: U23B or GP15-1

Freight: 6 axle flats, like what DoD owns to ship military equipment

Structure: modern power plant/coal dump or a dockside container crane (like the stuff Bernard Kempinski scratchbuilt)

Yes, I would love some SD90MAC's, pity BNSF have not bought any [IMG] But there will be some on my layout, as my son is a UP fan in N scale. [IMG]

Hey.....that's Brass! Nice, but way out of my price range SD. I hope Kato's don't cost as much as Brass, for your sake. I'm waiting for my BNSF and Amtrak Locos.

How about some modern structures, particularly city buildings. Everything in the States seems to be stuck in the 30's and 40's of rural America. If you want mordern city structures you have to get Green Max, Tomix, Kato which are all Japanese, or Kibri, Vollmer, Faller, which are German.

how about some gp-15's in MOPAC. Maybe the Norfolk Southern also. SD-70 spartans and wide cabs. B23-7's would be nice too.

Yes, it is brass, MP. But I'm thinking the Kato 90's will be more in the range of the SD40-2's. The brass 90 looks good, but doesn't run worth a darn! [IMG]

Did some one suggest a Mallet, how about a run of Beyer-Garret articulateds. Twin motored all wheel pickup with directional lighting and provision for a chip. Not much to ask really is it?

There seems to be a resurgence of interest (and models) of steam, and I think it will go on. Hope we get some more in N scale, although I am a modeller of the current scene, I can always find an excuse to run a 'preserved' steam loco.!

Andrew, I also like Beyer-Garratts, after all, we made lots of them in the UK for roads all over the world [IMG]

    Here Here on the steam!
You can buy 30 good running diesels to 1 decent steam loco. We need good running steam!
I think there's room for a steam only manufacturer, an N-Scale athern of steam!

One thing huh? Sure no problem, I just want ONE of everyting!! Seriously, More locos (disel and steam) is always a good thing but there still seems to be a void in variety of structure kits available compared to HO. I would like to see more building kits (I am just getting my feet wet with kitbashing buildings.)

My desire is a logging locomotive in N gauge.
There may be some out there but I haven't found one. A Shay would be nice.
