    I rarely railfan outside of SoCal, but I did have a chance to visit Austin Texas about 23yrs ago. Pic taken near the Amtrak Depot in town. Of course it would have helped if I cleaned up the slide before scanning it!! yikes :eek:

    Yes Paul, I saw some of your pics you shared about unit trains...very nice shots! This last pic I have was taken Christmas day 1981, in Kansas City, Missouri. It was bone-chilling cold that day.

    Reminds me of all that MP power I would shoot in Van Buren when I was living the bachelor life in Ft. Smith, AR. Thanks for sharing!
