My Little Train Watching Got a chance to sit and watch a train roll through today and boy was I in for a treat first there were two of this type of loco's leading the way, The first one in line to the left: http://www.railprints.com/rrprints/...raphics/b-n.jpg Then there were 150 coal cars behind it all full of coal looking so shiny in the sunshine. The biggest surprise was to see this kind of locomotive acting as a helper in the rear of the train: http://www.railroad-crossing.com/images/bnsf9.jpg ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW AND YUMMMMMMMMMMY IF ONLY I HAD MY CAMERA ALONG.
Barb, glad to hear that you got out and did some railfanning, even if it was those diesel contraptions. They'll never replace steam, you know. I couldn't get the first image, but see by the second it's one of them big GEE-EEE thangs, Techno Toasters I think they are called.
