Hmmmm. That's odd. There is a per post limit. But nothing to stop making an additional post. No reason otherwise.
Yeah, it's doing the same thing as when I first signed up. I could upload three pics, and then I had to wait like 48 hours to load anything else. I don't know if my membership "reset" since I haven't posted in a while. yes, I do have a trackplan, but I have had trouble getting the original CAD file to open, so I can make it into something worth showing. Will post once I figure it out.
There is no reset. Once you are in, you stay. Everyone the same. Your settings look just fine, Confirmed Member. Try checking your upload size and format. Best to keep uploads and attachments to 100KB or less.
All pics are right about 200k. I uploaded all the rest with no issues. Now when I try to upload anymore, it just gives me an exclamation point now. So, I will downsize. I hate graffiti in real life, but I think it looks great on a layout.
Tried to upload more, but failed. Even downsized to 50k. There is some other issue besides size causing a problem. Frustrating.
Hi Paul, thank you. The building with the Orange Semi out front is scratchbuilt. The rest are kits, though the Mason City Steel Supply is a modified kit. I finally have a track plan to upload, but I STILL CANNOT upload more images for some reason. Maybe some day.
Almost exclusively Walthers. Is there a particular building you are referring to? There are a couple of other brands mixed in.
As I am building a switching layout I am looking for a brewery, food distribution, scrap metal, printing firm so very similar buildings to yours
Who says small layouts can't be cool? I think you've done a really good job on this! That Walther's building with missing parts looks better to me than the original. You've probably got more than enough motive power to run on this, but in case you don't, (shameless plug mode) you may want to see my ad in the swap meet thread. http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?152072-Athearn-Blue-Box-BNSF-GP38-2. Again good work on this 2slim
Man, your structures are grungy! No, really. Superb weathering, especially the old corrugated elevator. The scenes are nicely composed, the center backdrop really does the job, and the detail is excellent. Overall superb layout.
Thanks all! 2slim, I don't have a large roster (5 locos, including an Amtrak P40), but I DO have a BN GO-38. One of my favorite engines ever. Railmix, thanks for pointing out the grungy look. I was really going for that, as that is real world, especially along the tracks. The backdrop will have a photo background eventually, which I think will really improve the overall look and depth.
I have moved my updates to another thread on another forum if anyone is interested. I have a track plan there as well. Thanks. http://www.modelrailroadforums.com/...My-first-Layout-a-5-x-9-Modern-BNSF-Freelance
