The Kato SD-70MAC comes with Kato magnetic couplers. While these look good, they do not always work well with MT couplers. When I installed MT-2004s they were slightly high, with no room for a shim. I tried MT-1015s but the draft grear box is too thick. My solution last night was to install a 1015 coupler in a 2004 box. It is the correct height. You will need the MT coupler assembly jig, and several centering springs.

From expierence, when you say several centering springs means that a few will take off across the room and disappear. lol [IMG]
