Evening all, After two months of looking for my passwords book I have finally given up and ask for my password for this site. Why you ask?? Because at the end of April my wife and I moved from our home in Olympia, WA. back to my home town of Fresno, CA. Most of my family still lives here, or near hear. My dad turned 79 in May, and I finally get to see my grandaughter more than once every 5 years. We were lucky to find a new house within 3 blocks of the BNSF Northern Calif Division at MP 999.9. And within about 2 miles of the UP main. I met a lot of great people in Washington and had the chance to run on the outstanding DCC layout of David Bond, Or NCNG as he is known here. If you are going to the convention in Seattle take the time to see David's layout. It will be well worth the trip. Along with moving back to be around my family I can also fly the plane that I am half owner in. It was two years ago when I flew it last. Also I have met a gentleman who workes for a hobby shop here in town who runs on a large DCC layout in North East Fresno. I was ask to bring my equipment and run for the first time on this layout last Tuesday. What a thrill to see my equipment running again. Again I would like to thank David for helping me put my only decoder in my Athearn SD-9 so I could run with that group. And say thanks to the wonderful people who run in David's group for there friendship and support. Now that I have my password back I will post more often.
