Got a MDC 4-4-2 but the motor is hurting ,will not start it self and need a push. It has been cleaned and lube but still bad. Does any body know of a good replacement motor? This is a older engine with the worm gear direct on the driver gear.
There's a seller on Ebay that sells motor upgrade kits. I know there's one available for MDC/Roundhouse Steam Engines.
Thank you. Yes I saw that , however the listing said for MDCs with a idler gear on top of the driver gear. This engine has the worm direct to the driver. I think I found a used motor on Feebay. Or it will be a dummy for now.
