Custom Train Illinois Central GP40 Engine - PLEASE READ ITEM DESCRIPTION | eBay Looks Like Lego or their competitors ..Brick something. Tom
Not sure what the issue is on this one, it is a real car and a version was released by MTL. May not be pretty, but here it is...
Oh my gosh, thanks for the heads up. I'd have never dreamed this to be a commercial product; my aging eyes see no beauty in this.
So, yeah, it's a real car but the pictured car does not match the description. Here is the car that matches the description
It seems to me just about everything on eBay is a joke now. The price of model trains has skyrocketed. Even the used market. And don't even get me started with the price to ship stuff to Canada now. I remember when I was collecting European stuff, thinking it was so friggin expensive. I was like 50 bucks for a freight car!!! Now that's almost normal for the North American stuff. I've essentially been priced out of my own hobby. If I buy anything it's either at a huge discount or pre-ordered new from the manufacturer. If I'm spending 150-250 bucks on an engine it's going to be new, not third hand and made by Kato/atlas in the 90's.
Yep , I'm not sure what you're paying for postage but 12 decoders in a small package to Australia cost US$60 and took two weeks to get here.
Ah yes! My parents loved the show, so I watched it too. I can still recall the theme song. Pre-Marvel, The Avengers means something totally different to our generation.
I remember watching it with Honor Blackman before Diana Rigg took over. Thought it was clever how they explained when she left the show.
Not a fan of Graffiti. I have a property with 4 tall walls around it, no-one has ever touched those walls. Just as well, i'd hate for the streets to echo with the screams of the 'artists'... Glad to model eras with minimal graffiti.
When Emma asked Steed where she went he replied that she took a job in Kentucky. This was a reference to her leaving the show to film Goldfinger. Another great scene in the show was when Rigg was going to leave and they had Emma's husband show up, who looked exactly like Steed...
