Montana Rail Link derailment

I am guessing this is actually a BNSF manifest train. In the area where this happened, it could well have been due to a rock slide:

Interesting. Sure is a bunch of media buzz recently with derailments.

 

I am sure there will be more buzzing. Media just loves grabbing hold of a topic, and beating it to death. In this instance, the cause will likely NOT be due to any human failure. Probably something caused by nature. It is the time of year when weather and seasonal changes stir up the surface of planet Earth.

Just received an email from within HQ. Says there were some brand new cars which were wrecked. (Ouch.) No cause known as yet. A whole lot of beer spilled. NO HAZMAT. And that there are cars jammed in the tunnel, which will be a project to get out.

 

I hope they are insured by Farmer's! That video is crazy!
