Hi Matt, Welcome to the TrainBoard, glad that you've come on board. What scale are you considering? I'm in N-Scale, but we have folks who model across the spectrum and will be more than happy to chat with you, answer questions, and offer advice. Oh, we have one other advantage, there are folks here who may not actually model anything, but work, or have worked for real railroads in all sorts of positions. So if you want to know how to design your yard so it's efficient in a real situation, ask away and someone with yard operation experience is bound to chime in with help.
