A bunch of pics I have taken over the last week. They are all at the Rolsindal Commuter Rail Station on the Needham line: Station Sign: Train A-comin: Rosi Bound: Pappa_Mama_and_Baby_Bear
Train at the station. In the forground you can see the lift rings of an electrical box.: Leaving the station:
WOW, That artwork is nice. If that kid applied himself,he could do well in the real world. I also like that MBTA used an engine on each end. Is this common. NJT only does that when they run out of cab cars. There's talk now of a 10 car double-decker set with ALP 46's on each end. The reason here is 1 ALP can handle only 6 DDers.
Steve - I'll try to get you more. These were taken between Monday and Thursday of this week. Notice anything in common with them all other than subject? Actualy they only have locos on the outbound end. This keeps sound and smoke out of South Station.
Empty Platforms These are from today, April 9th while taking the train outbound to Needham to visit my mother and then inbound to Roslindale. For Steve That turnout leads to the staging area for commuter trains on the Needham line: Inbound - you can tell because the lights are off: Inbound and my Shadow:
