I stumbled across this link on a yahoo list I'm on. I don't always read them, but tonight I did and think this is really neat. http://gold.mylargescale.com/SnoFalls/on30/280bash.htm Looks like an inexpensive kit bash. http://gold.mylargescale.com/SnoFalls/on30/images/2-8-0_quarter.jpg http://gold.mylargescale.com/SnoFalls/on30/images/2-8-0_side.jpg A couple more shots of the kit bash. Interesting stuff! But even more catching, was the "SnoFalls" part of the URL. It was what I thought! Reference to Snoqualmie Falls, in Washington State. Just a few minutes drive from where I lived for almost 48 years! Snooping through the site, I found a picture of the fellow. Can't think of a possible name. But he looks familiar. The photo was taken in a place where I had stood many times! At RR museum where I was once a member, etc. Brought back memories!!!! Further proof of what a small world it is! Boxcab E50 [ 24. There sure is some nice modeling done there. Steve Fisher's styrene steamers are fantastic looking. Has the On30 bug bit yet? Greg Elems [ 25. June 2003, 07:09: Message edited by: Greg Elems ]
