Over the past three winters I have been building a benchwork in a 16' X 22' room. This past winter I finshed it up, but before I get to much further I want to do something with the lighting in my train room. I was tinking about going with track lighting above the benchwork. Does anyone else have any other items in mind that I should look into. [IMG]

Hello 'teacher, welcome to Trainboard, and especially the N Scale forum :D

How wide are your baseboards? Single deck, double deck? Concealed lighting behind a fascia board looks good, and if you use bulbs with a dimmer switch, the lighting can be varied to simulate differnt times of day. Especially good if you have lighted buildings, signals, etc.

For working on the railroad, I use daylight flourescent tubes, also good for taking photographs.

Keep us informed of progress. [IMG]
