Can anyone give me an honest opinion on the LifeLike SW-9 engine? Was trying to find out if it is worth buying one before I spend the money!

I own 9 LL SW switchers. Four are always working my yard. For me, they have been great. They look good, run good and have surprising tractive effort for such a small loco. Easy couplers conversion to Micro-trains I have them on the layout since they came out, and they are still working qas hard as ever.

I have about 8 of them myself. All but 1 is in NP. I have decoders in 2 of them. Look and run great, in fact they are the best switcher I ever owned!

Hey,I've got 3.My friend took out the plastic gears & replaced them with Kato C-44-9W brass worm gears,& they are now the best running little engines I own!!!!!!!He got the idea from one of the mags.I let him do it because I'm useless in that area.He has all the tools & presses needed for this project. I own one, it requires the occasional nudge to get it's butt moving but I guess that'll go as I run it more because it has about 30 minutes of run time right now...

Thanks to Life Like Canada it's in a nice CN paint scheme. And the price is right!
