DJ, thanks so much for your interviews, especially this one. I've ridden Acela and the tilt mechanism is so good that I never felt that we were doing 135, or even 150 up in Rhode Island. The only unnerving moment in the 150 district is when we pass another Acela at speed. You hear a very loud bang as the 300 mph compression wave hits the windows.
The catastrophe of the Acela. What a shame the engineering failure that kept it so slow. Well, once all of the old Acelas are replaced, the entire route will speed up to the max, instead of this little section.
