Show us your pics of hoppers! Coal, open, closed, ballast, grain, potash, you name it, let's see some hoppers!
Hemi, my list says Northwestern Oklahoma Railroad. I have a shot somewhere of an open NOKL hopper that I took in Idaho... [ December 13, 2005, 12:19 PM: Message edited by: campp ]
Here's a couple of my favs... 1. The half-weathered BN grain hopper. 2. The carbon black covered hopper.
I don't imagine you had to grab that shot very fast, as a train on Tehachapi doesn't generally go very fast....
Hey Doug, is it me or is that Carbon Black hopper way bigger than the normal 40-footers I usually see.
Boy, is that some weedy track!! Thanks for sharing! CSUX 1: (Colorado Springs Dept. of Utilities--A.K.A. CSDU/CSDPU)

Now didn't Klemme Coop postdate CNW? Seems this shoud be a NAHX or RREX or something repaint instead of a CNW? I was just surprised that this was repainted as CNW. Really nice pictures, everybody. Additionally, are there any sand hoppers anymore? Those used for sand for the diesels?
