just finished installing a new Set-100 with the LZV100 power/command station, and connecting it to my existing series of XPressNet panel connectors. Everything seems to work fine.

However, the manual for the LZV100 states the following on page 27:

"The ends of the XpressNet Network lines A and B should be
connected to the resistor, which is enclosed with the LZV100. The
resistor has a value of 120 Ohm."

Problem is, I search the box in which the LZV100 arrived and what do I find: no resistor.

So I guess the question is, what do I need to know beyond "120 Ohm resistor?" Do I want 1/4W, 1/2W or something totally different?

And, on a different note, how come when I go to Radio Shack and ask for resistors the people who work there don't even know what they are, and just point towards the back of the store and say "they're probably in one of those cabinets?" :eek:mg: :shade:

    Thanks!

First, you probably DON"T need the resistor. If your existing XPressNet network was working just fine, it will work just fine with the LZV100 in place instead of your previous command station.

Where you would see a problem is if you had a really long XPressNet network.

Now, to answer your first question, I think it's a 1/2 watt resistor, but I'm not possitive.

To answer your second question, radio shack is more inrerested in selling consumer electronics these days than selling electronic components.
