I found this link to a site featuring a new model railroad layout design software for the Macintosh. I have not tried it, so I cannot make any claims about it. I have no connection to them either. http://www.railmodeller.de/
Thanks for posting a link to the Mac layout program. I downloaded it (2mb) and it seems to work just fine. I would like to see Atlas tracks as an option, but no such luck. Other than that, it's really easy to use, and the 3d mode is nice. I haven't seen another program for the Mac yet, so it's good to have at least something. Dave
I run both "Shipit!" www.albionsoftware.com and "3rd Planit" www.trackplanning.com on my Mac with Virtual PC running Windows XP. The newest version, VPC 6.0 is now out. www.connectix.com No problems besides the normal ones associated with all Windows products. Just realize that the Windows world is a whole other world where things don't just work perfectly out of the box. PC users are used to struggling to get things to work. I hope more people will eventually write model railroad software for the Mac.
I downloaded it and tried it but froze my computer. It takes at least a 8.6 systen and mine is 8.1 so didn't work. I find this all the time and it gets frustrating.
