    Hope y'all like this:

Kiamichi GP35M 3802 leads an excursion train on the Frisco Depot Museum's display layout in Hugo, OK in summer 1989. The model itself is an Athearn GP35 modified to a GP35M by removing the turbo exhaust & adding regular exhausts, custom-built paper air filter, handrails, lift rings, and the proper MP-type 3-chime air horns. The paint is genuine Kiamihci burgundy, while the decals are custom-made for the former CMO (a friend of mine).

Sorry it's dark- I shoulda put more light on the subject

Looking sweet Bob! You done the custom work ????? Very good... I have a GP-38 setting on the "to be a road slug" track hehind the roundhouse to become a CSX Road slug....

Altho, its nothing special. Just a plain jane old Life-Like GP-38 that I had laying around collecting dust, screamin' for attention! :D So its getting a sort-of "face-lift" so, I don't have another pumpkin CSX or normal GP-38 rostered to have a decent conversation piece. And also be a good unit as a slug to asist the mother unit in power. Being it was powered when I got it. It stays that way! Even tho its a noisy thing.. I'm not complaining. All my other GP-38's are plain ole Life-Like so..... Never know thats its powered or not, with the mother unit whining too! :D But I done some tricks to quiet it some. but it still humms and whines so. But it runs and even pulls pretty good for a plain ole Life-Like!

In the midst of packing all my RR goodies for my Texas move, I found a GP9 shell I did for the Kiamichi. I also have a Rail Power Products GP35 shell that I've detailed for a GP35M. All I need is to come up with a decent shade of burgundy, since I no longer have access to the KRR's paint supply, and my painter moved back to PA.

I may do up 2 more KRR diesels, and be done with it. The only other source of KRR decals is Oddballs Decals (pretty good source, BTW).
