I respectfully submit my website which covers the railroads around my hometown of Bakersfield. Because of its fame and proximity, the ex-SP Tehachapi Pass line is the main subject of the site. The website includes photos, facts and visitor guides to the most popular locations in the area. I hope you all enjoy the site (link below). ------------------ Kevin Stevens www.trainweb.org/KernJunction
Kevin ... you have an excellent site here! Well organized and fast loading. Thank you for your entry ------------------ Bill (#16) "Get Goosed on the Yreka Western"
The Cross at the Loop and the 'Oil Can' pix are outstanding (among others). The story of the Cross at the Loop is the story of a train that was doomed from the start. Nice site. Roger

Sweet! Although I'm a ATSF-BN-BNSF fan, I do have a sweet spot for the SP. The Cotton Belt/SP operated trains through my hometown of Lincoln, IL. a few short years before the UP took over. Anyway, nice site! ------------------ Brent Tidaback, Member #234 BNSF Railfan-to-the Max and a N-Scaler to boot! Ship it on the Route of The Roadrunners!
